RECORDSPORT are claiming Celtic are looking to bring in Manchester Utds Lee O’Connor even though news has broke this evening that Celtic are looking to finalise a deal for Man City’s Jeremie Frimpong.
Both around the same age and same position (right-back) – it’s unclear if Lennon wants to make a move for both to come in before the deadline.
The Lee talk has come out of nowhere in the last half an hour. We’re not sure how real the link is at this point. Respected MailSport journalist did claim Celtic have been looking at Lee for some time.
Celtic and Neil Lennon seem to be bringing in a lot of players between 17-19 who could develop and make the step up in the coming years.
The club are trying to get players in before they become more well known and come at a premium.
