JEREMIE FRIMPONG has came out swinging on social media 24 hours after being stretchered off at Rugby Park.

The player was brought down by Kilmarnock’s Alan Powers in a very cynical and aggressive challenge in an area of the pitch that didn’t call for it.

Jeremie couldn’t get back to his feet and signalled to the bench he was in trouble immediately. The defender’s leg had to be strapped before they could take him off the field.

Celtic fans feared the worst for the youngster who has been a sensation this season.

Neil Lennon’s update in the aftermath last night gave hope the player would be ok.

Frimpong’s message tonight appears to back up that sentiment.

Celtic won 3-1 against Killie in the end and we’re comfortable enough throughout.

Frimpong would have heard a vile section of the Killie support cheering as he was stretchered off and the bhoy looks like he’s got the bit between his teeth.

  1. Kilmarnock, one stop short of hell ( ayebrokes ), even the dogs in the gutter are nasty, never mind the denizens of the dwindling lodges.
