Celtic have a moth six weeks between now and the end of the calendar year.

The Hoops are in a decent position to propel themselves into the new year with renewed vigour.

Ange Postecoglou will be fighting on three fronts between now and when we ring in the bells; the SPFL, League Cup and Europa League.

The bhoys have secured European football beyond Christmas with their back to back wins against Ferencvaros.

The conference league awaits third placed sides in the Europa, however, Celtic still have the potential to qualify for the next round of the Europe.

It all hinges on the final two games and more importantly, getting a result against Bayer Leverkusen away from home; no easy task.

Kicker in Germany have claimed Celtic could be up against a very patched up Leverkusen side when the game comes around with the German side struggling with up to 8 first team injuries.

Leverkusen humbled the Hoops at Celtic Park, and even despite some injury concerns, they will fancy their chances against the bhoys.

If Celtic can get a result, they’ll be able to take qualification to the final game of the group; a home match against Real Betis.
