PATRICK ROBERTS may be leaving after today’s cup final but the player isn’t resigned to never playing in the hoops again.
While he acknowledges that it’s the end of this chapter with Celtic, the Englishman hasn’t given up hope of playing for Celtic again in the future.
Roberts, 21, has still got a long ways to go in the game and well you just never know.
“Would I ever return again? I’ve always said you never know what might happen in football. It’s never goodbye.
“I’ll always be a fan and will always come to games, even if I’m not playing here.
“I could end up back here in a few years and, if so, then great.”
We hope he bows out in the cup final with a medal.
Pity the lad didnt get a final run out today, would have been a fitting farewell. Thanks PR.
