Adam Idah has turned out to be a terrific January signing for Celtic, despite dismay and anger surrounding his arrival.

With the striker hitting the ground running for the Hoops, fans are talking about making his loan permanent, but Norwich City holding the keys to any permanent move.

Idahhas registered five goals in 10 appearances so far.

Norwich City’s intentions regarding Idah’s future are not yet clear. The Championship club is keeping its plans under wraps, leaving Celtic and Idah in a state of limbo until the end of the season.

The situation is further complicated by Norwich’s own loan signing, Sydney van Hooijdonk, from Bologna. The Dutch striker’s performance could influence Norwich’s decision on whether to entertain offers for Idah. [Football Scotland]

Van Hooijdonk’s struggle to find the back of the net, with no goals and only one assist in 11 appearances, contrasts sharply with Idah’s impact at Celtic.

Therefore, Celtic will have to wait until the end of the season before they learn if they can take the Irish striker on permanently. It’s worth noting that there is no buy option included in the loan deal, which could hint at Celtic already having other plans for the window ahead. But, on the other hand, could Idah’s impact force a rethink?

  1. Will possibly still depend upon how idah finishes the season with ourselves?
No longer see a future for OH with ourselves, so a position within future squads is still up for grabs?
Don’t believe idah was originally thought of as the solution to the position available?
Not totally convinced he’s the solution just yet upon the bigger picture, but showing enough currently to be potentially the solution in the possible making?
Big decisions awaits in the summer with idah only 1 upon quite a few that awaits for ourselves, so not really the time now to be giving it much consideration just yet imo?
