If you’re missing Celtic Park this video might make you happy and sad.

The snow fell in Glasgow overnight leaving the city covered in white this morning.

A brilliant video captured by Celtic multimedia man Kevin Kelly shows the snow falling outside Paradise with the stadium looking brilliant in the backdrop of the snow.

A really peaceful scene.

Celtic Park is a special place for the Celtic support. It’s not lost on us we’re approaching a year since the last time we were allowed inside the stadium.

Previously, if we were going through tough times, going to Celtic Park and watching the bhoys play was an escape for many. That’s not been on the table since March of 2020.

We’re no further forward in getting back into the ground at this moment in time. For now, we must make do with the Celtic Pass and videos like Kevin’s to remind us, we’ll be back one day.

  1. Excellent stuff!!
Paradise is Paradise snow, rain, sun or Hail! Hail! (See what I did there??) It’s strange to think it’s nearly a year, I can remember it like yesterday. Almost 60 thousand of the Faithfully in their full green and white splendour, the flags and banners flying, the GB bouncing. Then Glen belts out For it’s A Grand Old Team just before the Bhoys take to the field.
Then the greatest sight in European football as Celtic Park turns into a sea of green and white scarves to the sound of the dearly departed Gerry Marsden’s YNWA.
KO and the cheer goes up followed by a rousing rendition of ‘THERE’S ONLY ONE NEIL LENNON’!

    Ah! Those were the days!
