The duo has been instrumental in the team’s start to the season, and their on-field chemistry is evident to all.

Amy, the great-granddaughter of Patsy Gallagher, has been on fine form, netting the ball five times in Celtic’s opening three games. Kit Loferski has mirrored Gallagher’s form this season, also netting the ball five times in three games.

Speaking about their dynamic, Gallagher told CeltsAreHere, who attended the pre-match press conference for the game against Dundee United, “I think me and Kit are completely different players. But I think that is why we work so well as a partnership.”

While Loferski is known for her pace and ability to exploit spaces behind the opposition’s defence, Gallagher prides herself on her playmaking abilities.“She likes running in behind and getting goals. Whereas, I like linking up the play,” Gallagher added.

Their complementary styles have proven to be a success for Celtic Women, with both players starting the season in scintillating form. Gallagher believes that their understanding goes beyond just the two of them and extends to the entire team.

“We are working as a full team at training. When we get the ball in wide areas, we know where to be in the box and the positions to score. I think that is showing on the pitch with our performances so far,” she explained.

The partnership between Gallagher and Loferski is a testament to the team’s cohesive unit.

With both players in top form and their partnership blossoming, Celtic Women’s fans have a lot to look forward to this season.
