Both players have been in training for the full week after they recovered from the injuries that have kept them out for the past few games.

It’s not so good news for Anthony Ralston, who’s still in rehab and training separately, but he is edging closer to making a return to the squad.

Ange Postecoglou gave the update in his press conference on Celtic TV, while confirming the only player not available for the weekend’s match is Anthony Ralston.

The squad will train on Saturday morning, ahead of their match on Sunday, so things can change slightly, but the manager will be hoping that isn’t the case.

Having CCV back is great; he’s one of the first names on the team sheet, but it gives Ange a selection headache. Up until Kobayashi’s arrival, Starfelt was the man that slotted in beside the American. But given that Kobayashi naturally plays on the left side, and he’s been in good form since his arrival, will he slot in at the back instead?
