Celtic’s interest in Honduran winger Luis Palma was initially noted on Wednesday evening. As well as confirming reports of a potential deal, Sky Sports journalist Anthony Joseph provided an encouraging update regarding the Hoops’ summer business.

On Twitter, Joseph said that it is set to be a busy end to the transfer window for the Scottish champions. He reported that the club targets three priority positions, which are goalkeeper, left-back and left-wing. As well as this, it was stated that the Bhoys would also be keen to improve their options at centre-forward.

So far this summer, Celtic have signed six players. If assets are indeed brought in in all priority positions Joseph mentioned, the total number of incomings will rise to nine.

Public in his desire to add quality to his squad, Hoops’ gaffer Brendan Rodgers will hope everyone brought in goes on to succeed in green and white. Targets are being lined up across the pitch, making it even more exciting for supporters who don’t have any ideas who could be brought in.
