Chelsea Linz pub have announced on social media that the venue will be renamed The Bhoys Inn ahead of Celtic’s trip to Austria.

Taking to Instagram, the Chelsea Linz account posted a photo of the Chelsea Bar sign being taken down and replaced with a new Bhoys Inn Linz sign, alongside the date 25/08/2026.

The post was captioned: “We are really excited that Glasgow Celtic football fans will arrive in Linz over the next few days. The world´s best travelling fans, aka The Bhoys will love the new name of our pub. The Bhoys Inn will be open on Monday 24th from 12pm and on Tuesday 25 from 10am”

Celtic supporters travelling to Austria for tomorrow night’s Champions League play-off second leg against LASK will now be well aware of the pub, and the chances of Hoops fans stopping by for a drink have increased tenfold.

Hoops supporters are well known for making the most of European away trips while doing so respectfully and safely, alongside enjoying the local food, drink and pub scene.

With the pub open from 12pm in Austria today and from 10am tomorrow, they are clearly preparing for a large number of Celtic supporters to turn up and enjoy themselves, which is a big part of European away days.

Celtic fans will hope tomorrow night is not just another European away trip, but one to remember.

The Hoops head into the game with a 3-0 aggregate lead and have the chance to secure Champions League football for the first time since the 2024/25 season.

That campaign saw Celtic reach the knockout stages before pushing Bayern Munich all the way, coming within minutes of taking the German giants to extra time at the Allianz Arena.
