    • Ano Brendan is raising standards but it appears that a side effect is an exponential raising of expectations. Gonny gies peace wi yer negativity? Have u any idea who we were playing? Do ye know where they are fae? Germans are known for absolute efficiency. Thats what you saw last night. Fae their most efficient club side in the history a their most efficient league. Their team is worth a £1/2B. Thats a capital B on the end in case yer still ragin and no seeing straight. The times we made the last 16 were probably the easiest draws we had. Oor team is worth a tenth of theirs. We havent been top tier for 50 years. We wont be again until a change in structure happens. Look at AS Monaco, average gate 10000, last years semi-finalists in UCL. The game is fecked, our club isnae, so dry yer eyes and start acting like a big boy.

      these major European sides and ours. Celtic are a worldwide brand but the cold facts are
      we cannot compete in the player market financially and as a result will always be on the back
      foot. This is stating the obvious as far as I’m concerned but it seems some supporters out
      there just don’t get it .

  3. TocTic, how dare you challenge the conventional wisdom on Celtic sites. Winning a treble in Scotland not getting beat by the likes of Hamilton, Dundee and ICT makes you a world beater. Ntcham is the future and will lead Celtic in Europe in the future. In Brendan we trust. And when all else fails, well we are passionate and sing a lot . That makes it OK then. I am absolutely sick of this deflection. Self-Congratulation, everybody loves us because of era atmosphere. No they all love us because of the easy three points. Rubbish is rubbish and that was rubbish. As the German papers are saying 9 of our players should not be playing int he tournament as they are deficient. INFERIOR. 2 are barely passable and the worst is the boy that cost the most. Time we paid attention to what is going on on the park and gave the card displays and songwriting a miss for a few months.

We didn’t start playing till they were 3 up but if you think that was a disgrace you don’t know anything about football bayern are a massive club and just look at their results against arsenal over the last few years .. lustig got turned 4 times off lewandowski in the first half but playing out of position against arguably the best striker in the world ? I hated Gordon when he signed for us because i remember him coming up for a corner for hearts when if the got a result rangers would have won the league maybe but he is absolute class shot stopping .. not good distribution but his performances have been brilliant . Ntcham is young but in games he has a killer pass and will be a star for our club . we have the same amount of points after 3 games as we had in the whole cl last year so obvious progress ..the way it is now we won’t be competing in the champions league for the foreseeable future .. take the money finish third and compete in the Europa .. and on the original post do you expect anything else ? Celtic fans are always good ambassadors for our club and country wherever they go .. you usually see a Celtic supporters club popping up and most teams love being friends and being associated with our club because of the fans actions .. the Celtic fans .. a great bunch of lads

Our BFITW need to take a step back from their 0 tae 100 rage-ometer and get some perspective. Your absolutely spot on, but some will tell you that Arsenal are pish cos theyve not won the EPL since Man Chelsea arrived on the scene (they still pumped us 5-1 over two legs 8 years ago). The fact that they are regularly top 5 in the ‘best league in the world’ will be casually dismissed. Like i say, perspective is required

  8. I didn’t see the game but I know how it was played because we have been in the same position against quality opposition a number of times before. Is it inevitable that we get a drubbing off the top 10 European teams? Yes. We can have a night where we may get the breaks and cause an upset but we have to be realistic that this is occasional and will continue to be so until the ridiculous wage structures are broken down when technology usurps broadcasters ability to ring fence revenue. Enjoy the night, sink a few beers and realize that unless we sell our soul to the man we have to remain Bhoys.

For me its how we play in these games are we serious to think we can play them the same way we play hamilton or should we be more conservative and a bit tougher it looks at times we are afraid to commit a foul especially when the other teams are in transition I don’t think the germans spanish french or italians would let us stroll around without a tackle being made Yes BM and psg etc are much better than us but let them know they were in a game at least

HH All yes wee are all CELTIC Supporters & Love them,But the team choice again was wrong 2 players in that are not fit passing that is poor brown lost the ball & they Scored what is wrong with having a gooo that is not sitting back as BR says play our owen game as wee dis 50yrs ago & wee are still Celebrating this wonderful Achievements.As our club always does wee hold on to players to long Brow and some others need to move on give young players a chance as wee Love pur Great Club as said Liam Henderson to mention but a few need to get game time GMS will come back to have the last Laugh hope not HH KTF.

We beat an Anderlecht Team 3-0 in their own stadium a team who has a good pedigree when playing European football they are no mugs, Anderlecht have always around and are respected by all other sides around Europe, So we got beaten by PSG & Bayern Munich 2 Top European teams that not only have top players that play in Europe, But are world class players, Both of these clubs have paid Millions of pounds for players, For our great club, a stadium second to none we also have the best supporters in the world, We have Brendan Rodgers and his fantastic coaching staff, The Bhoys are still in the winning mood still undefeated and another Treble coming This Season, We have some young and not so young players this season, We have players that have blossomed under Brendan & His Coaching staff, Players that could have possibly went by the way side are playing the kind of football, The Glasgow Celtic Way, Someone once said football is a funny old game, We shall still be playing European football after Christmas, The Europa League have got some fantastic top European Teams with some top European & World Cup Players, Also we shall still be tested to the limit and hopefully we can improve playing in the Europa League, Playing in The Champions League should benefit our Bhoys, The Experience that they have gained is second to none and need all our backing and support as we always do, But quite recently some of our supporters seemed to be out of order by getting on the back of Brendan and The Bhoys for fox sake get a grip, Look at what we have just done under Brendan Rodgers and we shall continue to improve and do you know why, We have a fantastic club chairman in Peter Lawwell Who has the club at heart and is keeping our club [FINANCIALLY SOUND] Which these days is not so easy to do, I Shall be 63yrs of age next month and can still remember my first game in Season 60/61 v Kilmarnock, We played in an all Green Strip and we won the game 3-2 and as the saying goes, The Rest Is History, I Would like to say to all our Celtic Family God Bless You All And A Big Hail Hail.
