There is a host of talent currently in the academy at Celtic.

Lennoxtown is a hotbed of potential and one particular young player has been attracting interest from a few Premier League sides.

Left back Mitchel Frame is currently on international duty with Scotland at the under 17 European Championships.

It is fair to say the Scots are the overwhelming underdogs in a group of death consisting the likes of France, Portugal and Germany.

Despite this, the youthful side did give a good account of themselves in their only match so far, which came against France.

They lost 3-1 yet Celtic’s Frame impressed for his national side, bagging an assist for Scotland’s solitary goal of the game.

And for this prodigious performance, scouts of Premier League side Brighton were reportedly in attendance to watch Frame. [Record Sport]

The team who currently sit sixth in the table of England’s top flight have joined Crystal Palace in trailing the youngster.

It remains to be seen how strong the interest from these teams is in Frame although it is certain that he is a player with sky high potential and top class ability for his age.
