Celtic ran out 4-1 winners against Hamilton today but it was not without its challenges.

The bhoys went behind in the first half and had to dig deep for the win. Making sure they took advantage of another Gers blink on Saturday afternoon.

With the game at 1-0, a direct ball through to Leigh Griffiths saw the striker through on goal only to be bundled over at the edge of the area.

A red card would follow and the opportunity of a set piece.

Odsonne Edouard would take the free kick duty and he was the coolest man in the stadium as he had the technique to get the ball up and over the wall – smashing the back of the net.

The goalkeeper can count himself culpable, while the technique was brilliant his positioning meant Eddie never had to bury it in the corner. The free kick looked excellent on the TV but his fan footage is brilliant.

What’s even better, if you watch the bottom right hand corner of the video, you’ll see a debuting Stephen Welsh going absolutely nuts when the ball hits the back of the net. A dream come true for the Coatbridge bhoy.
