Now that the kit deal has been announced and Adidas officially become Celtic’s kit manufacturers at the start of July, some fans are already wanting to see the return of an old Celtic Park favourite!
The three stripes to be exact.
Before Celtic’s kit deal with Nike over ten years ago now, Celtic Park had three stripes running through the stadium of both the Jock Stein and Lisbon Lion stand going into the main stand.
Since the Nike deal, one stripe had been taken out and it looks out of place.
A couple of fans on social media pointed this out. With Adidas being the brand with three stripes, surely it’s a no brainer to return to the old design at Celtic Park

While the new balance logo will be changed to the Adidas logo on the top of the main stand over the summer. It would give a retro feel to see the three stripes back at Celtic Park for ten in a row.
