BT Presenter Darrell Currie has called on the Scottish football authorities to do the right thing by supporters after they refused to cancel this weekend’s fixture list or put it behind closed doors.

With countries all around Europe and beyond taking social distancing measures, our country has decided to not adhere to the advice and do the right thing.

English football was the same but overnight, players and managers being diagnosed with the virus make the card going ahead as planned a non-starter.

With the illness set to grip the country, we should be making sure these mass gatherings aren’t happening for the good of our health.

Money is a great motivator and we can’t imagine the financial aspect hasn’t been heavily seized upon to justify Scottish footballs current stance.

Darrell Currie wants to see the SFA step up and not go ahead with the weekend’s football as normal. The Glasgow Derby clearly on his mind for Sunday too.

Don’t hold your breath.

  1. Not all mason support rangers , but 99% do in Scotland do but they finally got there hand squeezed by the bigger thumb

  2. Never thought he’d have the balls to out them, but fair play to the little oik. If we had a level playing field and honesty was first and foremost, teams would be happy to drawback from playing when there is a crisis. Whilst I do not believe in all the hype about pandemics.
If one club had been an honest operation from their inception to Scottish football in 2011/2012, they wouldn’t sh1t themselves about losing Sundays’ revenue. They are BROKE, with phantom money due to come in, and that’s just to stay in business. They are a shower of barrow boys, scared in case the golden egg, cause if Slippy walks, they have no money to pay him off. What a greasy shower, Slippy must be very comfortable with his slimy bosses.
