Celtic drew 2-2 with La Liga side Atletico Madrid on Wednesday evening in the Champions League. The Hoops put in a formidable display, but captain Callum McGregor was disappointed with one aspect of the game.

Indeed said point was the end result. The skipper revealed to CeltsAreHere post-match that he and his teammates are slightly annoyed they did not get a win. He said: “Everyone’s feeling in there (the dressing room), yeah, brilliant performance but we’re disappointed not to win the game and that’s against a really top team. It shows the value of the performance, it shows how good it was and we take the positives, we take the point.”

It would have been nice for everyone involved with Celtic had they picked up all three points this evening. It was not to be, though, but few within the support will be dissatisfied with the result which is a platform for progress that the Hoops will aim to build upon in Madrid next month.

  1. My concern is Taylors performances, he gifts a penalty when Scales is in position to clear the ball, Taylor is miles out of position during matches and either costs a goal or just about costs a goal, he loses the ball far to easily when rampaging forward only putting the team under pressure.
Left back is 1st problem position, known and not rectified during transfer window.
    Keeper and Striker also.
Board have again let the team and fans down, signing untested players to compete in Europe does not work.
