CELTIC’S pursuit of Cameron Carter-Vickers on a permanent basis could be even more difficult than first thought according to reports down south.

TeamTalk claims there are now FIVE Premier League clubs [including Leicester and West Ham] interested in the Celtic loanee as he continues to be a stand out for the Hoops this season.

The Bhoys do have an option to buy from parent club Spurs, but depending on what report you read, the cost of the transfer shifts between £6m-£10m.

Cameron is enjoying his football, but we do see players who like to come here for a season before heading back to England looking for their next move. There’s no sign either way if Celtic will keep Cameron beyond this season.

The important thing for Celtic right now is he’s here and he’s committed to Celtic for the rest of this season.

We can get caught up in trying to keep a loan player we don’t appreciate they’re here right now.

Celtic should do as much as they can to try and keep the US international beyond this term and will no doubt have conversations once the season is over. Right now, Celtic are in a title race and that matters more than anything.
