As Celtic related stories go, it might have nothing to do with our current squad but the news today that Henrik Larsson has contacted former Celtic striker Moussa Dembele, we can’t help but raise a smile.

Henrik took up a place in the new Barcelona set up last week and as Ronald Koeman gets set to make his mark on the Catalan’s, it’s being reported they want Moussa Dembele to replace the outgoing Suarez.

Moussa has been in great form for Lyon and helped them to the semi-final of this year’s champions league.

The striker has massive ambitions and the news Henrik has made the call could see two former Celtic strikers team up at the Camp Nou.

Larsson will know all about Moussa’s credentials from his time at Celtic. They both shared a pitch during a charity match a few years back too.

What a sensational move it would be for the player and with Celtic having a reported sell-on fee, it could prove lucrative for the bhoys.

  1. If this happens Moussa will be very happy. As contracts go a very lucrative move. But surely Moussa will be on a list of available players .

  2. But surely Barca will swoop for El Tubbo of the club/company, pound for pound, he has to be the biggest bargain striker around, or is that round.
