There have been several standout performers for Celtic so far this season, but there is one man who is likely to show his true potential.

For some of the Celtic squad, the World Cup break may have come at the right time to press the restart button and let some players have more time on the training pitch.

Ange Postecoglou has already stated that some Celtic players will be in a better position for the second half of the season, with some arriving without a pre-season, including Oliver Abildgaard and Sead Haksabanovic.

Aaron Mooy didn’t have much game time during his stint in China. He was slowly building up his minutes before the World Cup.

Haksabanovic was the match-winner for the Hoops in the final game before the break. The Montenegro international secured all three points against Ross County to extend Celtic’s lead at the top of the table by nine points.

The winger is versatile and has featured in several positions for the Scottish championships and looks like a top talent that will become even more important for Ange Postecoglou’s side in the second half of the season. If anyone can grab the second half of the season by the proverbials, it’s Haksa!
