CELTIC could be set to let Hatem Elhamed go in January after reports emerged the player is unsettled and home sick in Glasgow.

The defender moved to Celtic last summer from his home country but his young family stayed behind in Israel.

The player only being able to see them during international breaks and at the end of the season.

Elhamed has had a decent time at Celtic since he got here. He’s not set the world alight but he he’s done well at points.

If SunSport is correct, the club will listen to offers for the defender as long as they can get a replacement in for him next month. The bhoys were already going to go in the market to freshen up this side anyway.

Elhamed can play right-back and centre-back, so the club are going to want to make sure whoever they bring in is versatile.
