Everything Celtic posted a timely reminder of why we’re still waiting on Christopher Jullien making his much anticipated Celtic return.

We’re approaching the one year anniversary of the Frenchman rushing to the goalie to save a certain goal against Dundee Utd. The defender’s knee would contort and collide with the post – ending his game, his season and putting him on the shelf for a full calendar year.

Jullien has been on the training pitch for 6 or 7 weeks now but it’s been a tentative process. The staff behind the scenes want to make sure when Chris plays, he’s absolutely ready to go and will not suffer any setbacks.

Celtic have Cameron Carter-Vickers and Stephen Welsh in defence at the moment, there’s not likely to be a Carl Starfelt return against Hearts, but the Swede is nearly there according to the manager.

When Celtic have Jullien back, they have some serious options in defence and Ange will reap the rewards. Not to mention Chris is a constant threat at attacking corners, he’ll likely get among the goals when he does make his return.
