It was a frustrating morning for many Celtic supporters as tickets for the final game of the season went on sale, with technical issues causing disruption during the rush.

Fans flooded online to secure seats for the May 16 clash with Hearts at Celtic Park, a match that could prove decisive in the title race.

But many were left stuck.

Supporters reported being able to access the site initially, only to be kicked out and forced back into a queue that was later paused altogether.

Despite the problems, demand was as expected. Tickets sold out quickly once access stabilised.

It’s no surprise.

Celtic remain just three points off the top and have already secured a place in the Scottish Cup final, meaning a domestic double is still on the table.

And fittingly, the final day pits them against the current league leaders.

With so much on the line, the scramble for tickets was always going to be intense.
