There are reports from SunSport that Celtic is considering a move for a striker from Greece-based club AEK.

The 25-year-old Trinidad and Tobago international Levi Garcia has reportedly caught the attention of Celtic scouts during AEK’s recent win over Olympiakos, in which he scored his 18th goal of the season from the penalty spot.

Garcia, who cost £1.9m when he joined Greek football back in 2020, can play through the middle or off the right and has also provided six assists this season.

There are rumours of uncertainty surrounding the future of winger Liel Abada, who has been linked with several clubs including Southampton, Ajax, Benfica, and Crystal Palace.

Despite featuring 41 times in total for Celtic under manager Ange Postecoglou, the Israeli right winger has found himself on the bench more often than not this season.

Abada is under contract at Celtic until 2026, but it looks likely that he will move on this summer according to CeltsAreHere sources.

Celtic fans will be keeping an eye on developments in the coming weeks as the club looks to strengthen its squad ahead of next season with Champions League football on the horizon.

Excitement is building among Celtic fans as the Hoops prepare to take on arch-rivals The Rangers in the Scottish Cup semi-final on Sunday. With manager Ange Postecoglou at the helm, the Bhoys are chasing a treble this season and the semi-final will be a crucial test of their mettle.
