Marco Tilio’s move to Celtic hasn’t worked out the way the young Aussie would have anticipated. Billed as one of the top talents down under, the winger has come to Glasgow and made just two appearances in the first half of the season.

A January departure looks likely, with the player himself even hinting at a potential exit in search of minutes when speaking to Australian media ahead of the Asian Cup. Proof has been added to the pudding now because the Daily Record are now reporting that multiple loan offers are on the table for Tilio.

What teams are interested in the player remains to be seen, although somewhere in Scotland would be an ideal destination for the 23-year-old.

This is down to the fact that manager Brendan Rodgers previously admitted Tilio has struggled to cope with the demands of Scottish football.

Providing the Aussie internationalist with some vital experience in the Premiership could prove crucial in his development as Tilio aims to come back to Celtic next season and fight for a place in the team.

  1. How can a player struggle with the demands of Scottish football.
He’s only had a few mins of match time.
As far as I’m concerned with Rodgers he couldn’t identify a player even if Messi fell on top of him.
