CELTIC have been linked with defender Tom James as the player enters the final year of his Yeovil contract.
The 22-year-old has been on Celtic’s radar for some time but reports down south say Celtic have been keeping a close eye on the player’s situation as of late.
Rodgers seems happy with his defensive options but knows he needs cover for the gruelling schedule that comes along with playing for Celtic – James can apparently play across the back four but is most comfortable at right back.
Should the bhoys make a move for the Welshman, it would give them much needed cover.
This signing would hardly capture the fans imagination but could prove a handy piece of business.
