CELTIC are looking to step up their preparation for next season already by trying to sign PSV youngster Zakaria Bakkali on a pre-contract.
Reports in Holland suggest Celtic have now made contact with PSV to let them know they are in talks with their player who is out of contract in the summer.
Celtic were rumoured to interested in the player in the January transfer window but the youngster decided to stay put until the end of the season.
They would now be able to sign the player on a bosman but he would still be subject to a development fee that Celtic would have to pay.
Zakaria can play on both wings as well as being a frontman. The young Belgian has held talks about a contract extension with PSV but those talks have apparently broken down.
If Zakaria did sign for Celtic he would join another young front player in Michael Duffy who signed for Celtic from Derry in January.
It looks like Ronny is trying to build a team for the future.
