Marian Shved has had a difficult time at Celtic this season. Many thought he was going to be the man to come in and light up the SPFL, but it hasn’t happened.

The midfielder’s game time has been heavily restricted with Neil Lennon opting not to even have him in the squad for most of this season.

Celtic have been a juggernaut without him and as we come into the final straight of this season, there’s no chance Shved gets any meaningful gane time, if any.

Yaroslav Zvarych, who claims he recommended Shved to Celtic believes the player has made the wrong choice in signing with the club.

“I’m not the player’s agent, but I recommended to Celtic they sign Marian.” Zvarych told SunSport.

“Everything they learned about him came from me.

“But perhaps he made the wrong choice by choosing the Scottish league.

“I don’t think he properly researched the strength of the league and the competition for places in the squad.”

There’s ever chance Marian and Celtic go their separate ways in the summer. Neil Lennon doesn’t look near to using the winger.

A move back to Ukraine to get back to playing football might be what’s best for the young player. The deal seems to have been snake bitten from the start.
