Celtic have opened talks with another of their players as they look to tie up Ryan Christie on a new deal this summer.

The club are being proactive about trying to keep their top stars and Ryan had a fantastic season last term with his biggest ever goal tally.

The midfielder has two-years left on his deal at Celtic but being rewarded with a new long term bumper deal seems to be the right move according to SunSport.

Ryan has mentioned before that he would like to play in the Premier League during his career but Neil Lennon and co are hoping he sticks around for a while yet.

Ryan isn’t the only one the club are trying to do business with this summer. Odsonne Edouard also ha two years left on his deal and the club are trying to make sure the Frenchman has a long term deal so they can keep him for next season then sell the striker for a healthy profit down the road.
