Celtic podcast ‘A Celtic State of Mind’ have released a new charity single in aid of St Mary’s, Calton which is the birthplace of the club.
All funds raised from the song will be directly donated to the church which is a huge boost as they continue to recover from the effects of the pandemic.
For the first time in three years, the anniversary mass was once again able to welcome a large crowd this year as the club was well represented showing the strong links which still exist 135 years on from the formation of Celtic in 1887.
The new tune called ‘The Glory & The Dream’ features The Wakes frontman Paul Sheridan as well as Carly Connor and can be purchased or streamed on a number of platforms included below.
It was rediscovered in recent years having been originally written by JJ Gilmour (The Silencers) and Garry John Kane (The Proclaimers) and has now been reworked.
Currently the single is battling it out in the iTunes singles charts and is currently sitting at number 23 with any support much appreciated for what is a great cause.
