Celtic have been ranked among the top 20 clubs across Europe for revenue from kits and merchandise according to UEFA (via Transfermarkt).
The green and white hoops on The Bhoys’ home jerseys are a staple worldwide. As well as this, the club have brought out some iconic away and third jerseys over the years.
The bumblebee strips of 1996/97 and 2009/10 were renowned across the globe and although it hasn’t been worn competitively this season, the shirt that was brought out for the club’s 120th anniversary of wearing hoops was nothing short of stunning.
Now, in a recent ranking from UEFA, Celtic has been named 17th among clubs from across Europe that have earned the most money from kit and merchandise sales.
In 2023, the Scottish champions are said to have banked around 34 million euros, a figure greater than teams such as Inter, Frankfurt, and Fenerbache and not far behind the likes of Galatasaray and Ajax:

The above table only backs up the point that Celtic are one of the biggest clubs in the world. In almost every country across the globe, there is a supporters’ club of some kind.
Similarly, the green and white hoops are recognisable worldwide and can be regularly seen being sported by fans no matter the location. This has certainly aided the Scottish champions’ place in the recent kit and merchandise ranking.
