Celtic are in line for yet another hectic festive period across the month of December as the fixture list shapes up.

It has come familiar to the side and also supporters that December is a challenging and busy period for the club, and Ange Postecoglou will be gearing up to face that once again this year.

As reported by Sun Sport, with the rearranged fixtures being announced, currently Celtic have eight fixtures they will need to face in the final month of the year.

It’s imperative Celtic get as many injured players back as possible.

To start December off, Celtic faces a clash against Hearts at home on the month’s opening day. Shortly followed by a trip to Tannadice on the 4th of Decemeber.

It is a return to European action at the beginning of that month, as Real Betis come to town, before taking on Motherwell at Parkhead three days later.

The freshly rearranged game against Ross County follows on the 15th, seeing the Hoops take on another two away trips to St Mirren and St Johnstone on the 18th and 26th.

Finally, it’s back to Parkhead as Hibernian travel to Glasgow for the final game of the calendar year.

At this stage, that is how the fixture list will remain. However, there is a possibility of another reshuffle taking place again, should Postecoglou and his side defeat St Johnstone in the Premier Sports Cup semi-final to secure a second Hampden fixture of the campaign so far.
