Celtic are set to make a London Stock Exchange announcement early this morning detailing a fundamental change to the business.

Unfortunately, as we understand it, at the moment, it will NOT be to usher in the Eddie Howe era but instead herald the arrival of Dominic McKay.

Originally scheduled to take over from Peter Lawwell on the first of July, reports today confirm McKay will come in now to oversee the major overhaul Celtic are about to embark upon.

SunSport report the announcement will come in the AM and from then on McKay will be in the building.

Celtic are going to need all hands on deck and it’s expected Peter Lawwell will continue his role within the club until the summer so he can organise a thorough handover of the club.

The Hoops were in action at the weekend, running out 3-0 winners against Falkirk in the cup, setting themselves up for a Glasgow Derby in two weeks time.

We could have a new manager announced by then but John Kennedy is still pencilled in as interim boss until the summer.
