MOI ELYOUNOUSSI confirmed there was a discussion among the players and management after the humiliation of a 4-1 defeat to Sparta Prague for the second time in three weeks.

The Norwegian and his teammates have not covered themselves in glory during the season so far, and their woeful defending has cost the team dearly.

It’s left a large portion of the support looking for a change in management to solve the issue, however, the club have backed Neil Lennon to continue for the time being.

Celtic have not hit their full potential at all and continue to struggle against teams who sit back and hit them on the break.

Moi revealed the town hall meeting where everyone had their say did go ahead and the players spoke openly and honestly about the current situation.

For Moi, he sees quality all over the pitch and thinks it could be a lack of confidence that’s hurting the team.

“Yes we’ve had a healthy dialogue between each other.” Moi confirmed to SunSport.

“We had a chat with every player and the staff and everyone said what they are thinking.

“It was a good chat, but everything is going to stay in here between us.

“We are still the same players that did so well last year.

“The preparation hasn’t changed so there is nothing different. I think sometimes it could be a lack of confidence, sometimes just in your head.

“When I look around the dressing room I just see quality. We have to bring that out on the field.”
