It’s been a bit doom and gloom since the Kilmarnock defeat at the weekend. However, there is good news on Tuesday morning after a video emerged of Celtic’s training session at Lennoxtown.

The bhoys are warming up for their final Champions League encounter against Feyenoord on Wednesday evening and they’ve been boosted by Daizen Maeda’s return to full training with the group.

The Japanese winger has been out since his sending off against Atletico Madrid where he sustained an injury in the tackle that led to his dismissal.

Celtic have been lacking energy on the wings and Daizen certainly is a rocket boost in attack. While he can’t solve all of Celtic’s shortcomings, the team is better with Daizen in it.

The question now becomes; when will he see action?

Could he start against Feyenoord? You’d be reluctant to see Maeda exert himself too much as he is reintegrated into the squad. However a sub appearance to get him tunes up for the Hearts game this weekend is certainly an idea.

CCV was expected back in training after missing the Killie defeat and he looks good to go.

Liel Abada is not too far away at this point either.
