Luis Palma is back in full training and ready to make an impactful return to the Celtic lineup after a frustrating spell on the sidelines.

Missing the last five matches due to injury, Palma’s presence was notably absent since his last appearance in the 7-1 thrashing of Dundee at Celtic Park.

With the season approaching its climax, Palma’s return couldn’t be more timely. The Honduran winger’s return gives Brendan Rodgers another option. As Celtic prepares for the St Mirren at Celtic Park, his potential contribution to the team’s goal tally and creative play could be crucial.

Having already demonstrated his knack for both goals and assists, Palma is poised to add depth and a cutting edge to the bhoys’ attack. Had he been fit last week Luis would have certainly played some part in the Glasgow Derby.

After participating in a full week of training the player looks poised to return. Most likely from the bench, but you never know.

As the Hoops gear up for a make or break run, Palma’s resurgence is a significant boost.
