It was a very early start for Celtic star Nir Bitton, hours after he helped beat Scotland 1-0 in Israel.

The international week has come to an end and the players are now on their way back to Lennoxtown after their extended time away.

The bhoys have a big game on Saturday and it looks like Nir isn’t going to skip a beat between training and playing with his country to going back to Lennoxtown and getting ready for Hibernian away.

The Israeli has had an extended run in the team due to injury and with mystery surrounding Kristof Ajer and Christopher Jullien’s fitness, he could be set to start at Easter Road.

Taking to Instagram, he let the fans know, he was on his way.

Nir has been Mr dependable in many ways for Celtic over the years, slotting in where he needs to.

Starting out as a midfielder, most Celtic fans now see the player as a centre-back but if Neil Lennon needed the player in midfield he could certainly still do a shift.

Celtic need to build on their 4-1 win against Motherwell before the international break and make sure there aren’t anymore dropped points between now and the end of the year.

Taking part in the Scottish Cup final means by the next Glasgow Derby, we will have three games in hand against our city rivals.
