It’s being reported that Celtic have called in the big guns and the BT Sports crew that stopped covering Scottish football at the end of last season will be drafted in for virtual season ticket holders next term.
Michael Gannon of RecordSport has revealed the club have called in Sunset + Vine, the experts behind the BT coverage of Scottish football and Celtic supporters will be given top punditry by the likes of Chris Sutton, Johan Mjallby and Gordon Strachan.
CelticTV show games to subscribers outside the UK and Ireland already but the coverage isn’t the best. The media team do a great job but you can tell it’s underfunded.
During the virtual season ticket phase, the club want to make sure fans are getting bang for their buck and drafting in a top team will certainly do the trick.
Celtic have struck a deal with the production company behind BT Sport to give virtual season-ticket holders a top-class TV show.
