Among all the talk about the GB banner today it’s easy to forget we’ve got a game against Sparta Prague tomorrow evening.

With that in mind, we did get an update from the Celtic manager on the state of his squad for the trip.

There’s only one fresh injury issue ahead of the tie. Leigh Griffiths has been ruled out of the game with a knee problem, the Celtic manager revealed it’s not a big issue but it’s currently too sore to play on but he should be okay and in contention for the Ross County game.

With regards to players being back to full fitness, Celtic will be able to call on the services of Jullien and Elhamed. Jullien has been out for over two months with a back injury and we’re not quite sure what the issue with Elhamed was but Neil spoke like the defender hasn’t been fully fit.

“Griffiths is out with a knee problem but he should be okay in the next few days.” The Celtic manager told CelticTV.

Jullien is in contention to start as is Elhamed”

Celtic need a win against Sparta Prague tomorrow evening to have any chance of progressing in the competition. Celtic were humiliated at home by the Czech side and they must do everything in their power to right that wrong.
