The Daily Record reports that Ross County manager Malky Mackay intends to secure Hazard on loan for the rest of the Premiership season.

The Staggies intend to add another goalkeeper to increase competition and provide backup in case of injury, and Hazard would be a suitable candidate for the role.

The goalkeeper has only participated in seven matches across all competitions for the Hoops, with his most recent outing being a scoreless match against Livingston in January 2021. Hazard played in the famous behind closed doors Scottish Cup final where Celtic sealed a historic quadruple treble in a penalty shootout against Hearts at Hampden.

The 24-year-old Northern Irish international goalkeeper has recently come back from Finland, where he spent the 2022 season on loan at HJK. Helping the club to a title.

However, he still ranks lower in the eyes of Celtic manager Ange Postecoglou, with Joe Hart, Benji Siegrist, and Scott Bain ahead of him.

Hence, Hazard might consider their options ahead of the approaching transfer deadline this evening evening.
