CELTIC have reportedly triggered Scott Sinclair’s Celtic contract which will see the player stay at the club for another year and stay as their TOP EARNER.

The Celtic midfielder has been waiting on the club to decide for quite some time and although many people point to him being off form he has bagged 17 goals this term again.

Sinclair is rumoured to be on around £35kpw according to a SunSport report – a deal Peter Lawwell sanctioned when Brendan Rodgers wanted the Englishman during his first transfer window.

The same report claims Middlesborough are keen to bring the Celtic star back to England this summer. Could this be a tactical move by Lawwell to get a transfer fee or has he made sure that decision comes down to the next full-time Celtic manager?

Sinclair had an outstanding first season and while his performances have never really hit those heights again the midfielder comes with a certain amount of goals.

Celtic have four games left this season with the league just about wrapped up the bhoys also have a date at Hampden where they can lift the Scottish Cup for the third time in a row.
