The silence form Celtic at the moment only further compounds the fans belief they’ve not got any sort of plan in place.

We’re nearing the end of January after a disastrous season to date, there has been NO incomings to help this side out. The big decision on our manager is being drawn out like I’ve never seen before and the heat the manager has out on the club has distracted many from the real issues here.

Mark Guidi believes Celtic could be sleepwalking into a £30m problem if they don’t get their act together.

Season ticket renewals can go out as early as March but can be held off. Right now, we can’t envision Celtic sending out renewals until the very last minute.

Every bought in at the start of this term. It was the a historic season, the club needed our backing during a pandemic and we gave it to them. Our faith has not been repaid and we’ve been treated with contempt at times.

Now we’re in a scenario where the luxury of a season book might not be an option for some due to their financial situations. It doesn’t look like fans will be in the stadium by August, so it will be another TV subscription and if they continue along the path of ignoring the fans they will come up desperately short of their quota.

Guidi points out, Celtic fans have accepted the league won’t be won but they won’t accept inaction and lack of forward planning.

“I don’t think it matters (the Livingston game). Obviously, Celtic will want to win to see that they’ll still get second place to play for which I think will be, will be fine.” Guidi told SSB listeners.

“Celtic will get second place just as easily as Rangers are going to win the league. but it’s about the bigger picture that the football club. I get the Dubai thing I get it still rumbling on. But for me, it’s not important anymore.

“That happened two weeks ago yes it followed still there from COVID, but it’s about what’s happening with key positions at the football club from the chairman, the chief executive to the manager to the head of recruitment, to the possibly four or five key players that might want to leave. Will they want to leave in this window?

“It’s massive questions that are dependent on the future of the club that depend on whether supporters want to go and buy a season ticket, whether that’s four to 500 pounds seat that you’ve got, or whether it’s a hospitality table but there’s £30million, if not more 30 million quid rating on these key decisions, not £30 million quid riding on what happens at Livingston today. £30 million quid riding on what Dermott Desmond decides to do.”
