Celtic have the opportunity to go to Ibrox at the beginning of April as league leaders, it has emerged.

The bhoys are top of the league at the international break due to the Dundee v Rangers game being postponed due ti pitch problems.

It leaves Rangers playing catch up for the moment.

Now the SPFL have confirmed the rescheduled fixture won’t be played until after the Glasgow Derby – it means if Celtic can grab the win at Livingston – they would head to Ibrox top of the pile.

While it’s so tight at the top, many people won’t believe it’s a big deal. But it would give Celtic a physiological edge going into the fixture. A win or draw at Ibrox for the Hoops would see an interesting final Glasgow derby fixture at Celtic Park post-split.

The bhoys in green have been inconsistent this season and can’t take any game for granted, especially Livingston away. Any more dropped points for Brendan Rodgers men would almost certainly mean they are going to relinquish their crown as champions of Scotland. We can only hope these bhoys are up for the fight.

Celtic have won both derby games this season and will be hoping to continue that trend.
