Kyogo Furuhashi will return to his former club Vissel Kobe this weekend and will be welcomed on to the pitch before their match against Urawa Reds [Vissel Kobe].

The Celtic striker has been keeping Hoops fans updated with what he’s been up to during the break on instagram with the player even showing up on a Japanese games show.

Before departing for the Hoops last summer, the Japanese striker enjoyed a successful period with Vissel Kobe scoring 15 goals in 21 league games.

He will be welcomed back very warmly by the supporters as well as his former teammates which includes a certain Andreas Iniesta who is still doing it at 38 years of age.

Celtic fans very quickly took Kyogo to their hearts after his impressive performances against FK Jablonec and Dundee.

Although he spent the majority of the second part of the season out injured he still managed an impressive 20 goals in 33 appearances.

Having featured recently for his national side against Tunisia in the Kirin Cup, Kyogo will not be returning to training immediately next week.

The prospect of the Japanese striker getting a full pre-seaosn under Ange and remaining fully fit is truly exciting as we have now become accustomed to his magnificent play.
