CELTIC knew their Europa league fate before a ball was kicked on matchday six, however, it doesn’t make it any easier knowing three teams qualified from their group with the same amount of points as Celtic.

The Ibrox club has managed to get through with just eight points on the board!

The old saying goes; sometimes it’s better to be lucky than good.

We now look towards the Conference League and what should be an opportunity for Celtic to make a real go of things in the competition’s inaugural run.

Celtic will face a second-placed side from the group stages of the Conference League and after a night of football, here’s who Celtic can potentially draw.

Celtic’s potential Conference League opponents:

  • Maccabi
  • Tel-Aviv
  • Partizan Belgrade
  • Bodo/Glimt
  • Randers
  • Slavia Praha
  • PAOK
  • Vitesse or Spurs
  • Qarabag

The draw is on December 13th while the games will be played 17/24 February.

Celtic can now concentrate on domestic action and the small matter of a cup final before they turn their attention to the new year and what that could bring.
