The echoes of concern from Alan Brazil about the current state within the Celtic camp struck a chord on Thursday morning.

The Scottish champions find themselves in an uncharacteristically precarious position, having slipped to second in the table after a frustrating 1-1 draw with Kilmarnock. A game where they showed no sign of looking like they were up for the fight in this title race.

Brazil’s commentary on talkSPORT cuts to the core of the unease felt by many observing Celtic’s journey this season. “I don’t know what’s happening at Celtic at the moment. Clearly, there’s a problem,” he admitted, echoing the sentiments of a frustrated fanbase.

“There are things I’ve been told that might not be 100 per cent true. What I do know is, look at the results, there’s something not right,” Brazil continued, highlighting the dissonance between the club’s storied expectations and its current realities.

The Hoops have struggled to replicate their dominant performances from seasons past; even when victories were carved out, most of the time we’ve stuttered to victory.

With performances and results now in a worrying alignment that sees Celtic lagging in the title race. The question that looms large over Parkhead is whether Rodgers can orchestrate a revival, turning the current discord into a harmonious charge towards reclaiming the top spot.

Brazil’s comments, while speculative, touch upon a fundamental truth: a club of Celtic’s calibre thrives not just on talent, but on unity and a shared vision.

The final part of the season is an opportunity for Celtic to dig deep, find their rhythm, and remind the Scottish Premiership why they’ve been champions for so long. For now, the ball is in Celtic’s court, and the tune they play next could define their season.
