Celtic have started 2019 with impeccable domination over every opponent. The Celts are yet to concede a goal or drop any points. In all competitions, the Bhoys have played six, won six, scored sixteen and conceded zero goals. Not bad.

St. Johnstone have played their part in making up them numbers. Celtic will have squared up to Saints three times in a fortnight after today’s clash. Despite the two wins, Tommy Wrights team are a tough hurdle. It’s been in the latter part of games they have come undone. (continues below…)

Brendan Rodgers has a massive game on Thursday at Paradise against Valencia. The Irishman also has a crazy injury list to contend with ahead of selecting today’s team. Timo Weah has made his name in Hoops coming from the bench. In his two starts he failed to score, he drops to the bench today with Burke moving back up front.

Boyata and Jozo will man the centre of defence with Johnny Hayes filling in left-back for an injured Izzaguire. James Forrest comes back in after Mikey Jonhston filled in for him against Hibs.

Celtic’s bench shows some promise with injured players making a return. Still no sign of Kieran Tierney on the bench despite getting back into training.
