Ange Postecolu enjoyed his first competitive win as Celtic manager during the week after an impressive attacking performance. Unfortunately, there are some defensive frailties that remain uncorrected for another week.

These defensive problems are ones that the manager has inherited and looks to be doing his best to put right.

The people responsible for them are at the wrong end of a fan protest been held outside Celtic Park today at 1 pm. Many different supporter groups have joined forces to let the board know that they have taken their eye off the ball and that they want the new manager backed to the hilt.

Nir Bitton at center half has been a disaster for the last three seasons in Europe. With Celtic losing their opening league game last week to Hearts there can be no more slip-ups before a Glasgow Derby at the end of the month. Bitton must not play in a back four.

Turnbull and Edouard are another two players whose form has been questioned and fans will look to the team sheet today and will no doubt focus on these three positions.

With the teams just announced, this is how Celtic will line up today for Dundee’s visit to Celtic Park.

Nir Bitton and Soro have dropped to the bench as Ryan Christie and Rogic come into the team for a very attacking-looking team. Stephen Welsh replaces Bitton while Kyogo holds onto his place after his goal last week with Edouard rumoured to be off to England on Monday.

Paradise will welcome 24,500 supporters back to the stadium today before a sold-out Thursday which should be an emotional one. I don’t think anyone has to given credit to what fans can do to any Celtic team.

A complete collapse last season had many many different reasons but you can’t discount what 60k+ Celtic fans do to a players and the team’s psychology and energy levels.
