Daizen Maeda Sends Message to Celtic Support

DAIZEN MAEDA has taken to social media after making a winning and scoring start to his Celtic career.

The Japanese forward went straight into the Celtic starting XI and it didn’t take him long to get his account up and running.

Daizen showed incredible bursts of pace throughout the game and helped Celtic press Hibernian out the game in the first half.

There are similarities between Maeda and his countryman Kyogo.

The striker thanked the fans for their support.

Maeda is likely to feature more for Celtic in the coming weeks. Kyogo’s injury is still being investigated by the Celtic physio team and they’re unsure when the goal hero will be back in the team.

The bhoys managed a 2-0 win against Hibernian on the evening and even though the second half was a bit more of a struggle – the team showed they can see out a game professionally.
