Dundee’s Cammy Kerr started in Celtic’s 4-2 win last weekend and has revealed what it is like to try to keep Celtic’s on form front three quiet.

Dundee has faced Celtic twice this season, with the hoops putting 10 goals past the side already. Jota added two goals to his tally on Sunday and set one up for Kyogo who also scored twice.

Despite not playing in Celtic’s 6-0 thrashing of the Dens Park side in August, Kerr reveals what it was like to face the attack of Celtic as a whole;

“In the second half, in those first five minutes, that’s probably on me.

My game is to stop their attackers and I didn’t do it, so I will take the blame for that.

What a team Celtic are. They are a good side. But you pride yourself on your defensive displays against those teams one-on-one.

In the first half I felt I dealt with  it quite well. But that’s the quality they have. Two instances in the first five minutes of the second half and they punish you.

 After that, I probably got too attracted to the ball and that’s what they do.

 They suck you in and then punish you more. They are top-quality players and the way they move the ball for the whole 90 minutes is great.”

Focussing on the quality of Jota;

“In the first half, I let Jota have it and tried to match him for pace.

“But once I had won it a few times, I maybe thought, ‘I’ll go tighter’.

“That’s when they show their quality and they can knock it around you. It’s a lesson I will take for myself. [sun]

Ange Postecoglou does not give defenders a break, as he explained to the team in his first training session, they only stop at half time and full time.

The football Celtic play is brilliant to watch, on Sunday every Celtic attack could have led to a goal with the bhoys registering 24 shots on target.
