SCOTT BROWN says there was a roar in the dressing room when the players found out he was offered the full time Celtic job.

It was just minutes after the treble treble had been secured when Neil Lennon was in conversation with Dermot Desmond and Peter Lawwell and he was offered the job.

The Celtic social media team quickly put the story out into social media and it looks like the fans found out at the same time as the players.

“It’s phenomenal. It can’t get much better. We all found out on Twitter and all the lads are diving about in the changing room. We went out, got the gaffer and brought him back in.

“The cheer for the manager to get the job – it was phenomenal. It has been a hard one since he came in but he’s the only man in my eyes for the job. He has had to win two trophies and yet again he has shown that he knows how to win trophies.“

Celtic have secured their third consecutive treble and made history which will take a monumental effort to every surpass.

It seems a long time ago since the first treble was secured with a late Tom Rogic goal. Today, Edouard and the bhoys wrote another piece of Celtic history and in doing so landed Neil Lennon the job as full time boss.

Players and fans will savour the moment but the hard work will start this summer when Neil Lennon rebuilds this winning Celtic side.
